Rural properties are typically off the gas-grid and rely on premium priced fossil fuels for heating and hot water.  The cost and disruption required to convert a home and replace traditional boilers with modern heat pump technologies can be prohibitive, particularly in older rural homes .

At Dovebury we have installed Air Source Heat Pumps in each home we have developed.  We can offer expertise in determining how to adapt a home to achieve energy efficiency – adaptations which typically involve installing underfloor heating and considering changes to radiator sizes, space for heat pump storage tanks and better insulation. It is not a simple process and it is extremely difficult to do such work while home owners live in their property.
